Christian Hines is a performer currently based in New York City. He is a graduate from Niagara University's BFA Theatre Performance program. A versatile actor, Christian has performed all over Buffalo at venues such as Ujima, Lancaster Opera House, Irish Classical Theatre, Musicalfare, O'Connell & Company, and Shakespeare in Delaware Park. He has also worked with Theatre at Monmouth in Maine, He’s been lucky to study with some of the area's best acting teachers, including Kate LoConti Alcocer, Tracie Lane, Doug Zscheigner, Josie DiVincenzo, Steve Braddock, and Paul Todaro, and is very comfortable with Shakespeare. He was lucky enough to work with Ellen Novack who is a senior acting instructor at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. He also studied with Claire Karpen who teaches 4th year acting at the Juilliard Drama Program. Currently he is studying The Meisner Technique under Suzanne Esper at the William Esper Studio.
Some favorite roles he has played include: Angelo in Measure for Measure, Demetrius in Midsummer Night's Walk, Various Characters in Great Expectations, and Oliver in Puffs. Dream roles include: Prince Hal/Henry V, Horatio in Hamlet, Macduff in Macbeth, Othello in Othello, Cory in Fences, Boy Willie in Piano Lesson, and Levee in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom.
When not acting, he enjoys video games, eating, Marvel movies, discovering new playwrights, watching new television shows, and spending time with his family.
